Known issues
Currently known issues and limitations of the Shared Email Templates & Signatures for Gmail extension, and why browser or platform restrictions cause them.
Due to certain browser or platform limitations, some issues may persist in the Shared Email Templates web app and/or the Gmail extension (opens in a new tab):

| Web app and Gmail extension | The built-in templates editor may insert the <span> tag that breaks macros. To fix this, edit the HTML code removing the <span> tags from broken macros (use the </> button). |
| Web app and Gmail extension | The built-in templates editor might corrupt formatting in some (very rare) cases. |
| Web app and Gmail extension | The web app and extension don’t work correctly for private browsing or when Chrome is set to never remember the browsing history. Also, the issues may occur if the Block third-party cookies option is enabled. |
| Web app and Gmail extension | If the file is larger than 25MB, it’ll be sent as a Google Drive (opens in a new tab) link. |
